"We're Hooked"

Thank goodness we had one of the most patient best guides in the business. My client/friend fell in love with fishing this day, after a few times with a guide last year. We slayed fish and ended our last day at the amazing Lava Creek Ranch. Our guide was so patient and spoke to a new fisherwoman in a way that I have never witnessed. She is hooked is coming back in September for more of the goods. Thank you, WALT!

Snake River Float

Spent a beautiful day on the Snake River with Walt from Lazy River Fishing Tours. His  knowledge of local waters, (beyond the Snake) and personal history with fly fishing was invaluable. The views, conversation and fishing were lovely as well. Couldn't have dreamed up a more picture perfect day. Thank you!

Great Family Experience 

We had a great experience with our guide Walt Moore from Lazy River Fishing Tours. We had 3 beginner fly fisherman - my 9 year old daughter & her grandparents. Walt did a fantastic job teaching us the mechanics of fly fishing and was able to put us on several large rainbows. He was very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable about where the fish are and what they would be eating at the given time of year. Would highly recommend Walt whether fishing with adults or young children. I would use him again as our guide in a heartbeat.

WOW-Walt from Lazy River Fishing Tours delivers again! My husband & I did our first float down Snake River 2 years ago, and got Walt by luck as our guide. Since then, we have had many guided fishing tours throughout Idaho, Yellowstone, Montana and Wyoming. And those were good, but whenever we get the chance, we always go with Walt. His vast experience shows not only does he know these rivers like the back of his hand, he has the expertise & techniques to offer even a seasoned fly fisherman tips that can elevate their practice.

Knowledge, Gusto & Enthusiasm

Walt impressed us with his ability to navigate treacherous river water with ease, and make sure you land the perfect cast. His enthusiasm is infectious - when you land a great fish, he celebrates with such gusto you would think he just personally won a fly fishing tournament. His respect and knowledge for the area are also noteworthy. Even after living here for so long, he still points out little details from the boat with such wonder, as though he moved here just yesterday. I am a non-fisher, joining my husband mostly for the nature tour and to take photos from the boat, and I enjoy Walt's company and knowledge as much as my husband does. We just can't wait to come back and do this all over again!
